With Sunrise Mountain in the distance, the club at sunrise is located in eastern Las Vegas and is just minutes from the world-famous Las Vegas strip. Originally opened as the Winterwood Golf Club, it was designed by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee in 1964. The club re-emerged in the summer of 2016 after undergoing a full renovation by golf course architect, Randy Heckenkemper. The renovation was also a part of the larger Las Vegas wash project. The golf course is owned by Clark County and managed by Kemper Sports.

The par 72 golf course offers golfers a unique golfing experience with picturesque golf holes carefully contoured and designed to appeal to all levels of playability. in addition to the new course, the facility features a newly constructed 4,400 sq. ft. clubhouse, a stocked golf shop, and the Winterwood Grille, a full-service bar, and restaurant complete with patio seating open to both golfers and the local community.
